Women's Wellness Event

The Women's Ministry is thrilled to host an evening of Christ-Centered Wellness on Thursday, April 25th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. We are beyond blessed to have this evening of worship in the beautiful surroundings of Lucy Creek Dockhouse.

Elizabeth Simonis will share her testimony, which will be followed by restorative stretching while meditating on hope-filled scripture readings. We will conclude the evening with fellowship as we enjoy refreshments from Narrow Path Farms and SHIFT Society.

Feel free to invite daughters, mothers, friends and neighbors! And don’t forget to bring a mat! Chairs will be available for those who choose to sit during scripture readings. Click HERE to register today!

Cookie Bakers Needed

We need up to 300 dozen cookies for the upcoming May 3rd – 5th Kairos Weekend at Ridgeland Correctional Institution (RCI). Homemade cookies are a tangible expression of Christian love and an indication of God's concern for a group of people who seldom encounter that during their daily lives. Your loving sacrifice will provide "bread" that shines the Light of God's Grace into the darkest corners of a prison unit. May God bless you for the gift of baking! Please drop off your cookies on Wednesday, May 1st from 11am – 6pm in the Parish Hall lobby. If you would prefer to provide a financial donation to cover the cost of Kairos meals or want to sign up to pray during our Kairos weekend, please watch for additional information to be shared in the Parish Hall lobby. For questions, contact Jai Dowell at jdowell@sthelenas1712.org.

Cookie Guidelines

These types of cookies are generally acceptable: oatmeal, peanut butter, molasses, chocolate chip, ginger, and sugar. NO NEED TO PLACE THEM IN BAGGIES, just bring in any kind of a box with wax-paper between layers if needed. **It is very important that there is no icing, sugar, or any other type of coating on the outside of the cookie. Do not add any kind of fruit, peanuts, or nuts to the cookies.**
