Baptisms


Holy Baptism is especially appropriate on certain Sundays during the liturgical year. It is recommended that, as far as possible, baptisms be reserved for the occasions listed below or when a bishop is present.

Sunday, January 9 (1st Sunday after the Epiphany)
Sunday, March 6 (Last Sunday after the Epiphany)
Saturday, April 23 (Holy Saturday/Baptism in the River)
Sunday, May 15 (4th Sunday of Easter)
Sunday, June 12 (The Day of Pentecost:  Whitsunday)
Sunday, July 17 (5th Sunday after Pentecost)
Sunday, September 18 (14th Sunday after Pentecost)
Sunday, November 6 (All Saints' Sunday)
Sunday, November 20 (Last Sunday after Pentecost
