Children's Programming

Kingdom Kids Program (K-5th grade)

kingdom-kids-childrens-and-nursery-2015.pngKingdom Kids ministry program is dedicated to raising the children of our parish in the knowledge and love of our Lord and equipping them to love and serve Him all the days of their lives. In particular, we focus on three areas of our children’s faith formation: Biblical instruction, worship, and equipping them to be disciples who make disciples.

As parents, you are blessed and challenged with the primary responsibility for nurturing your child’s faith, and the Children’s Ministry leaders are honored and committed to helping and encouraging you.

We offer combined classes for kindergarten and 1st grade, 2nd and 3rd grade, and 4th and 5th grade. All classrooms for the children’s program are located on the second floor of Tyndale Hall. For more information, please contact Melissa Davis, Director of Children’s Ministry, at (843) 522-1712, ext. 215, or email her at

WOW! Wonders of Worship is our Sunday school program for children grades K-5th. We meet in the Cranmer Room next to the Parish Bookstore. (Click HERE for a campus map.) We are focused on praising God and giving thanks through liturgical worship. Live music is an integral part of our program along with a children's homily which is taken from the preacher's sermon or Gospel reading each week. The children are then prepared to go into the worship service with their families and experience true worship together. As parents and grandparents, we are called to raise up our children to know and love the Lord and what better way to do that but through worship.

WASH classes use the Discipleland curriculum. Written with the Word of God at center stage, the focus of the curriculum is “Bible knowledge, Christ-like character and faithful conduct. It will challenge children to become victorious disciples by equipping them for life.” Discipleland invites family participation through take-home papers and web-based articles and videos. It provides an interactive, curriculum-specific webpage for children and parents at

nursery-icon.pngOur Nursery Ministry seeks to be always mindful of the great responsibility that parents entrust to us. We strive to provide a clean, safe, environment where children and parents experience God’s love and feel welcomed and cared for. The nursery staff has undergone a four-hour Safeguarding God’s Children training and has received CRP training. We also provide safety and security through KidCheck* a web-based check-in service. Our nursery program is for children ages six weeks through four years old, with age-appropriate curriculum for our preschoolers. All nursery rooms are located on the first floor of Tyndale Hall.
