Lectors and Lay Eucharistic Ministers
Parishioners can participate in our worship services by becoming a lector or Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM). Lectors read lessons during the services. LEMs have been trained and are licensed by the Bishop of South Carolina to assist with Holy Communion. They also read the prayers of the people during the service. For more information, contact Shirley Parsons at (843) 524-7382 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Contemporary Service Support
Lay ministry opportunities abound assisting the clergy as readers, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, altar guild, ushers, and greeters at the 5:00 p.m. service of Holy Eucharist. This service is for anyone who prefers a more casual liturgy and music. Whether you’ve just spent the day on the river, getting back into town, or looking for a new church home, come just as you are! For more information on assisting at this service, contact Mary Segars at (843) 838-3299 or email her at email@example.com.
A great opportunity to serve the Lord by providing amplified sound to all. Volunteers operate the sound systems in the church for the 8:00 and 10:15 a.m. services. They assist in operating the Parish Hall system and portable systems used at off-campus events and special events throughout the church year. Technicians in the church usually work once a month. For more information or to volunteer, call John Barber at (843) 525-1316 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
